En Reflota no nos limitamos a desguazar barcos y enviarlos a vertederos. Nos importa su historia, y por eso buscamos nuevos propietarios o formas de darles una segunda vida. Cuando es necesario, retiramos embarcaciones no deseadas — tanto en tierra como en el agua — de forma segura y responsable. Y si no existe otra alternativa viable, procedemos a su desmontaje y reciclaje, gestionando los materiales como la fibra de vidrio en plantas especializadas de valorización energética.

¿Desguazar barcos es una solución buena y responsable?
Cuando un barco parece estar al final de su vida útil, es tentador pensar que desguazarlo es la mejor solución. ¿Pero realmente lo es?
- El GRP (plástico reforzado con fibra de vidrio) no es reciclable, permanecerá en un vertedero durante siglos.
- Casi no hay partes ni materiales que puedas recuperar.
- El costo total (transporte y disposición) es exorbitante.
Ofrecemos dos formas complementarias de deshacernos de barcos antiguos:
Reubicación
Muchos barcos parecen estar al final de su vida útil, pero en realidad solo están al final de su uso debido a enfermedades, vejez u otras razones.
Los barcos pueden ser salvados, y nosotros podemos ayudarte a reubicarlos. Además, es la opción de desecho más económica.
Reciclaje
A veces, los barcos realmente están más allá de la restauración. Deben ser desguazados de manera responsable, y nosotros podemos hacerlo.
Siempre es una opción de desecho más costosa, pero lamentablemente, en ocasiones, inevitable.
